Location is very good, room was quiet, beds were comfortable.

First room we were given was old and moist, right above the garbage alley so very noisy in the early morning. Fortunately we were moved to a better one for the rest of our stay but the housekeeper didn't do a very good job in the room. Hotel is having some renovation, (not mentioned on the website) so for breakfast we had to walk 2 blocks and go somewhere else.

The location was great

The loud restaurant below (not managed by the hotel) and plastic cutlery at breakfast. For $702 for 2 nights we expected at least proper cutlery. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel because of this. We landed from UK and were tired.The music was pumping until 1am (6am UK time so we were shattered). This was out of the control of the hotel. If I had booked a hotel with a nightclub or casino, I would expect loud music, but we were on the side, 3rd floor, and it was still very loud. The single pane glass didn't help. We had to switch room immediately on arrival as the shower didn't work and the safety deposit box was loose on a shelf and not attached so was not safe at all as it can be walked away with. After our first night, one of the staffs response to the noise was 'well this is Miami'. Later on with the assistance from Lilian who was understanding, we switched to another sister hotel. We then had a front facing room and also a restaurant with live music downstairs, however the music stopped at a normal time and the double glazing and noise insulation was brilliant. We didn't hear a thing. Thank you for your assistance to help us be comfortable. The hotel really needs updating and the prices are based on location, not the standard of the accommodation. If you're out partying until the early hours and need a base, this place is perfect.

The location was fabulous.. just smack in the middle of south beach and ocean drive.. lively location, lots to do and see. The staff was very helpful and towels and amenities were clean.

The rooms need upgrading.. the tile floor in room was a bit uncomfortable if you won’t prepared to be barefooted . AC was an old fashioned one from the early 90’s and loud.

Great location. Staff was friendly. They have a nice little bar & you can also dine at hotel. Everything was in walking distance with a CVS next door.

Our room location was not great. No microwave in the rooms.

Location was great. Historic art nouveau hotel right across from the beach on Ocean Ave. Free bicycles for 1 hour use. Staff was cheerful and attentive. We had an issue with the ceiling fan not functioning and someone came up in minutes.

Free Starbucks coffee 24/7; just plain black and hot water for tea. Only Lipton tea offered. Bathroom was small and functional, however, no soap provided at the sink. Had to reach over the toilet into the shower to use the body wash on the wall. A/C provided through wall unit was a bit noisy, but I like silence for sleeping. Breakfast was mediocre; toaster was not functioning, so no toast; scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, pancakes, cereal, apples, juice, coffee and water.

The hotel is located on the Ocean Drive which means that is a very good and famous location in Miami. You can visit a lot of places walking and there is a very nice square in front of the hotel where you can walk or cycling for several meters.

The breakfast is too much simple wiht just a few options of bread and side dishes. The tables are outdoor and frequently some birds tried to get our foods and did theis needs around and on the table.

Because of the Covi -19 I understand about the breakfast ,hopefully by the time I come back to visit things would have change

Art Deco design was completely unique. Most hotels these days can be similar and boxy. Fabulous furniture in the lobby. Located right across the street from Miami Beach.

Was served a breakfast which was well above usual standard for the USA to be. A great way to start the day enjoying it at the hotel front porch overlooking Miami South Beach.

It is in general hard to find hotels at Miami South Beach that offers an extra bed in the room without having to book an extra room.

Location, Location, Location!!!!!

It is in the heart of the Art Deco District, which is a plus....except for the noise!

Excellent location friendly staff, we asked for quiet room and were located at back of hotel, there was no view of the sea but also no street noise which can be a pboblem due to its central location on ocean drive
